I & all my 4 kids (3 of whom are adults now) have been Lego fanatics. I got them started young.
The youngest, now 15, still likes her Legos & was awfully happy & relieved that I got her three (3) Lego Advent Calendars last year. She told me, categorically, that she is still NOT old enough to stop liking Lego Advent Calendars.
A few days ago, with Christmas looming, per old habits that die hard, I started to idly peruse new Logo kits. I saw this Bonsai Tree kit. Could NOT resist. Couldn’t wait till Christmas. So, I ordered it. Not for I, but for the 15-year old — on the assumption that I would build it, i she didn’t.
Well, she loved it. Got real excited. Sat down & built it, in pink, in one 3-hour sitting. She knows her Legos. She has had lots of experience. She thought that it was quite easy.
It, as you can see, is blinking beautiful. Very pleasing to the eye.
Well, I am going to enhance it further. I just ordered the LED lighting kit for it. SMILE.
This lighting kit, which cost nearly as much as the tree kit, is not slated to be delivered till late next week. I will post pictures & comments once she gets the lights installed. In the meantime I have to say that this Bonsai Tree is a real winner. Will make an outstanding, sure to please, Christmas present.
