This is quite the story — hence, quite the movie. WOW. I had no idea. I don’t recall having heard of any of it, in the form of news, at the time. Though, I, of course, know of the brand I have never had reason to be a ‘Gucci’ fan or be with anyone who was (at least as far as I know). ‘Armani‘ suits were my only concession when it came to luxury fashion brands.
I found the movie very compelling — much more so than I had ever expected it to be. Lavishly produced. It is definitely worth watching irrespective of whether you are into Gucci or not. Interesting, very Italian, family dynamics & drama. Lots of funny bits too. I strongly recommend it.
