Loved it. Was so inspired and HUMBLED. Made me realize that I could do more to make the lives of others better. Wow. So powerful.

I loved it so much, I wanted to find out MORE. So, I went a looking. YIKES.

I started with Wikipedia.

‘Michael Oher’ sued the white family who took care of him, viz., ‘Tuohys’! Wow. That kind of ruins the fairytale. Also appears that he was a proficient football player prior to being coached by the Tuohys. DAMN.

I wish they hadn’t embellished and altered the story so much.

SHAME. So inspirational. I am still going to take lessons from it.

I find golf even more insipid than watching paint dry. Never understood its appeal. Yes, as a teenager I tried it once — & will even confess that I even got some golf lessons (paid for by my adoptive parents). But as a lifelong avid cricketer, hitting a stationary ball had limited appeal. Luckily this is NOT a golf movie! It is all about discrimination based on your skin color. Set 70-years ago, BUT still topical & relevant. Worth watching.

Very well done. Very slick production. Good cast. Relatable. I enjoyed it. I recommend it.

Yes, it came up as a Netflix ‘Gem for You‘ recommendation. Yes, the Netflix AI has got me fairly well pegged. Yes, it proved to be a gem.

I don’t want to say much at all because I don’t want to spoil it for you. As it is, some of you will claim that it was predictable.

Transpires that it is a true story. That makes it special. Wow. Very inspirational. You get to see the real folks the movie is based on at the end.

I enjoyed it. Yes, I like chess movies BUT this was more than that.

Highly recommended. Cheers.
