It was a blast. I really enjoyed it.

My 24-year old daughter, who had hiked it last Summer (for sunrise), shamed me into doing it.

It was a beautiful — maybe even Goldilocks — day; not too hot, not too cold. So, I gave it a try. Since it was still mid-May it wasn’t super crowded, BUT I had to park (on the tip from a lovely Park Ranger) at the Bus Stop (which I could do because the bus service hadn’t started up for the season as yet).

Not that many people on the trail. Enough. But I had periods when I was on my own — especially coming down (given that I was ‘motoring’ {SMILE}).

As you might have seen from the graphic my MAX HEART RATE was 139 & average was 107. So it wasn’t that strenuous.

Highly recommended.
