OK, to be honest, unlike say whale hunting, big game shooting, or elephant poaching, bullfighting is not that much of a pet peeve of mine. But, it does bother me. I would rather NOT see it happen. Thus, I was glad to hear of this — Colombia deciding to ban it. Good on ya. BRAVO! Thank you.
I was surprised to find that SEVEN (7) countries still permit bullfighting. They are: Spain, France, Portugal, Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, & Venezuela. I, of course, knew about Spain & might have had an idea about Portugal. Not sure whether it had ever registered with me that there was bullfighting in France. That surprised me.
But, this is a good step in the right direction. I am happy. SMILE.
