WOW! The fireworks for UNEXPECTEDLY good. Exceeded wildest expectations. Start off slow, half-hearted & then … BOOM. A salvo that rocked the stone pier I was standing in. Never seen such a crescendo in Wolfeboro & I have been going to Wolfeboro fireworks — July 4th & New Year’s Eve — since the mid 1990s.
It was at 6pm. Yes, 6pm. That was EARLY. I was a bit put out. But, it worked. It was short too. Just over 10 minutes. By 6:12pm I was walking back to my car.
It was billed as taking place ‘at the docks‘. But, per the norm, it was at ‘Brewster‘. Luckily I had gone to Brewster. Worked out.
Glad I went. Made my day. Great fireworks.
