The poor U.S. Haitians. They just can’t get a break. Bad enough the stories about the cats & dogs. Now this — & that when their President was trying to defend them, give them some credibility, standing & respect.
Of course, he, in his NERVOUSNESS, screwed up & did so badly.
He, of course, didn’t realize that the jug was to POUR water into the glasses next to it. He picked up the jub. What can you say?
IF he had the strength to pull it off, i.e., drink from it without spilling any water on himself, it would have been quite the feat. He would have been THE MAN! He would no doubt have got a round of (well deserved) applause.
Instead the world laughed at him & continues to do so …
The poor Haitians. It can’t be fun to be an Haitian.
