Did ‘Pope Francis’ Keep The Invaluable ‘Suburbicarian See’ Of ‘Albano’ Vacant This Long To Give It To His Friend, Kissing Expert, ‘Víctor Manuel Fernández’?

Creating fellow compatriot Víctor Manuel Fernández a cardinal was obviously not something that just came out of the blue.

Pope Francis & Víctor Manuel Fernández have been close friends & thick-as-thieves collaborators for over 20 years.

Creating him, i.e., Víctor Manuel Fernández, a cardinal, as soon as it was practical must have always figured in the pope’s master plan (however sketchy it might have been).

Now it all makes sense.

Víctor Manuel Fernández, as a senior curialist, is sure entitled to be a Cardinal Bishop (not that that has ever made a difference). But, to be fair, senior curialist, in good standing, invariably get the nod when there is a Cardinal Bishop vacancy.

The pope can give him ‘Albano’ right at the consistory. That would be neat.

So, it all makes sense. WOW.
