I have learnt, the HARD WAY,
that there is LIFE outside of Amazon.

Everyone eventually has a breaking point.

There will be a straw that breaks the camel’s back.

For the last 10 years, if not more, I did 97% of all my shopping online, on Amazon.

I loved the convenience. It save me TIME. I never CHECKED whether it was saving me money. I blindly bought from Amazon. Not so anymore.

Amazon is NOT what it used to be.

Too much SCAMMING going on.

On June 1 I cancelled PRIME — which I had had for over 20 years & later in the month I cancelled my Amazon STORE CARD.

I can’t stop shopping at Amazon altogether. I can only get MY BOOKS through Amazon. SMILE. That is OK.

Everyone eventually has a breaking point.

I am, as of June 1, 2024, BOYCOTTING Amazon
as much as possible.

For as long as I can remember, & definitely for the last 15 years, I did nearly all my shopping, online, on Amazon.

I never compared prices or thought of looking somewhere else.

I was loyal to Amazon & until THIS YEAR, by & large, Amazon had been VERY GOOD to I. I had no complains. I gushed about Amazon.

All that changed that year.

Amazon has started to SUCK … & suck real bad.

Their Customer Service has become HOSTILE.

I am done with them.

I needed one of these fast scanners. I was, as usual, going to get it from Amazon — prior to the June 1 boycott.

After that I HAD to look around.

eBay came up. It was supposed to be NEW & offered FREE SHIPPING.

I got it a few days ago & tried it yesterday. It was NEW and worked perfectly.

I saved $36.55. I can buy something else. I am excited.

SCREW AMAZON.

Everyone eventually has a breaking point.

The straw that breaks the camel’s back.

I reached that today.

Anybody who is familiar with this blog (or by some miracle with I (on a personal basis)) will know that I used to love Amazon.

I did at least 95% of my shopping on Amazon. I easily bought over 600 items a year on Amazon — coffee, dog food, toilet paper, eye drops, lip balm, toothpaste, printer paper, clothes, shoes, books … We got Amazon deliveries on a daily basis.

But, this year, 2024, Amazon has become customer-HOSTILE.

I am so done of Amazon NOT caring about me as a customer.

I can shop other places. It will be good for me. SMILE.
