He made this ‘all religions are a path to God‘ statement in Singapore — which is a MAJORITY Buddhist country. [There are about 2.5 times more Buddhists than Christians.]
Not sure, given his age & infirmity, that he had thought this through. It is possible, given that he is not well educated, that he didn’t know that Buddhism did not believe in God.
I don’t think many Buddhists will be bothered by this. Many don’t worry what the pope has to say.
I just found it interesting.
