After cracking the screen on a ‘Pixel 6 Pro’ on my last trip to the ‘Bold Coast‘, I started using a lanyard on my replacement Pixel 6 Pro — for safety — at the behest of my daughter. It makes sense, PLUS I used to use a lanyard, habitually, with all my cameras.
I had also got a new ‘Spigen’ case for the new camera. It was slightly sturdier than the one I had been using. I got this lanyard tab because I thought it would go well with the case. WRONG. I should have read all the Amazon reviews. Yes, the Pixel 6 Pro is a heavier phone.
But, this is unacceptable. I just did a ‘1-star’ review on Amazon. Not sure whether they will publish it (though they have a few others (for the same problem)).
So, just a heads up. Stay away from the Spigen lanyard tab. Got that?
