The new sign pointing to the ‘Bench Spur’ is much welcome. That spur, which offers spectacular views PLUS a bench to take a break, was unmarked. BUT, I have made a point of stressing the importance of exploring these spurs. Now at least the main one has a sign. I am glad.
Not sure what prompted the name change. OK, to be fair there are TWO BENCHES so to call one the ‘Bench Trail’ & kind of ignore the other was strange. So, now we don’t have that confusion THOUGH they have NOT, as yet, updated their MAPS.
Not sure WHO ‘Morton’ is or was. Will have to find out. IS IT NAMED AFTER THE SALT? Is it?
All good. I am glad.
