This film was made 101 years ago!
But, in some ways that is NOT that long ago depending on your perspective. It was filmed 33 years before I was born. I do recognize a few of the scenes/places.
Obviously science & sociology was much different at the time. That there was a land bridge between India & Ceylon is now known — scientifically. All in all, it is an interesting film to watch.
