On Friday morning, on my trip to Vermont, Google Maps on this BLOODY, ACCURSED 2022 Volvo XC60 stopped working AGAIN. This was a common problem during the first 6 months. But, then, with various software updates it got better.
This XC60 has been fairly decent for the last 6 to 7 months. Everything worked.
Then this.
I HATE THIS BLOODY VOLVO.
I can’t wait to get rid of it — albeit ON MY TERMS. I am not giving Volvo another bloody cent. They are crooks.
After 2 hours, after I had made a stop, it magically started working AGAIN!
I checked the software.
Claims I have a July 2024 Map update. The issue was on August 2.
Was it possible that it was updating the software, OTA — which is why maps wasn’t working? I don’t know.
Just letting you know.

This was yesterday, in Vermont.
It was a one-sided teeter totter. I had never ever seen one like that. I loved it. It was (just) $90. I really, really, really debated about getting it.
I LOVE teeter totters and rocking horses (actually any rocking animal).
This was so great. Solid too. Yes, I was CAREFUL. I wasn’t going to damage it.

As with the cannibals meet up this TOO was at ‘White River Junction‘, Vermont (yesterday).
Yes, I have talked about their BUCKET LIST wall before. I always make a point of going to check it out.
I found this yesterday … towards the middle.
The weather has taken a toll on this DELIGHTFUL mural. They should redo it. It is so much fun.
I can fully relate to this wish. Yes, I too want to LIVE before I die.
I appreciate that I have yet to live. I have led such a sheltered, uneventful life. I NEED TO LIVE.
I NEED TO LIVE.
I need to LIVE BEFORE I DIE.

I saw this poster, on one of the main notice boards in town, in White River Junction, Vermont.
White River Junction is NOTHING like anything I have experienced in New Hampshire, Maine or Vermont.
It is this very LAID BACK, Ultra-Hip oasis with trains. Yes, the trains are important.
I love White River Junction. These days when I go to Vermont I always visit WRJ. I was there twice yesterday. Great place.
But seeing this poster was a bit shocking.
I, however, would have been EVEN MORE SHOCKED if I had not got some exposure to such folks through Netflix.
So, thanks to Netflix I at least knew that there were folks who expressed their ‘interests’ openly.
But, even SO … WOW!
Only in WRJ. What a place. I would love to live there.
