I am a pragmatist & I count electoral votes. PA has 9 more than AZ! Not that much, but 2024 is going to be tight. Come November 9 electoral votes could make a hueg difference.
Plus, I appreciate the midterm election risk in 2026 IF ‘Mark Kelly‘ is VP rather than a senator. This midterm consideration is a bummer. Irks me (no end) BUT I get it. We can’t afford to lose even ONE Senate seat. Wow.
I dearly want Kelly as the VP.
But, I understand ….
The only thing that matters is getting ‘Harris‘ elected — though she is, NOT by a long chalk, who I would have preferred! Again, I am being pragmatic.
Mr. Harris is jewish. So, Josh also being jewish isn’t going to make that much of a difference. Kamala will have to stand on her own on this.
So, here, I have said it. I will support a Harris-Shapiro ticket.
SMILE. It sucks being a pragmatist.

I am glad that ‘DexCom‘ is getting punished by its stock getting CRUSHED. Down a staggering 41% today. Was $124 three-months ago. $64 today. Should go down to $0 — and it will, even then, be overpriced.
DexCom products are but EXPENSIVE random number generators.
I have worn eight (8) Dexcom G7 sensors — for a total of around 75 days. It is NOT the full 80 you would expect (i.e., 10-day lifespan x 8) because I threw away a couple BEFORE they expired because they were so, so, so inaccurate. There is NO point, whatsoever, of wearing an inaccurate blood glucose monitor. Actually it is harmful — even DANGEROUS. You are being given FAKE RESULTS. What the G7 reports is NOT your actual blood glucose level. Much of the time it is just a RANDOM NUMBER.
I just couldn’t believe HOW INACCURATE the readings were. They were bad. Many times they were not even in the same ballpark. Crazy. Stupid. DANGEROUS. Harmful. Should NOT be allowed. I gave up on the G7. Will never get a DexCom product again. I spent HOURS calling and talking to their support. I bought 3 sensors (for $320 of my OWN money (since it was not covered by insurance) & DexCom support sent me FIVE (5) as replacements because they ‘acknowledged’ that I had DUFF sensors. That is how I ended up with 8 sensors. Dexcom has all my data & knows they screwed up. Hence the 5 free sensors.
‘FreeStyle Libre’ is a tad better, but does not inspire trust or confidence.
You know that old chestnut how a totally broken watch, that doesn’t run, is better than a watch which is 1 second too slow/fast BECAUSE the broken watch AT LEAST shows the correct time TWICE a DAY whereas the slightly inaccurate one NEVER (ever) shows the right time. That is the story with the DexCom G7. Much of the time it just generates garbage results.

Yes, it still hasn’t been a week. I appreciate that.
I went out today to get the lay of the land. NOTHING as yet. Lots of ‘Trump’ & Republican signs. Not a one for democrats. Hhmmm. Early days.
Nothing like 2008 or 2012. But, ‘Obama‘ got started, way back, for the Primary (which he LOST!)
The other big difference is SECURITY! Wow. Wow. Wow.
Yes, 2008 & 2012 was after 9/11, but there was no security, whatsoever, at the campaign headquarters. Doors, other than when it was cold, were always flung open. People coming and going. Not so now. Strict security protocols. I understand. SHAME.

Because I have a few pages, e.g., this information-only ‘Bold Coast’ page, other than my personal account, Facebook forces me to use ‘Marketplace’ to do many things — including any interactions on my pages. It is very annoying. Drives me nuts. But, there is no getting around it. I am locked in.
Now, THANKFULLY, the E.U. is trying to force the issue. I am so glad. The fine, a mere $13.4 Billion, is but petty cash for Facebook. Nothing. Meaningless. They will just continue to laugh in their face.
The U.S. authorities will do nothing. They won’t even understand the issue. Very sad.

It will be more red meat to Trump & Vance. They will just love having Pete. They will lump them together …
We don’t need Pete.
We need a Governor or Senator who can guarantee a State. We need a good man to balance out Kamala. Pete is not that. Enough said.
I want Kelly. I will be so motivated if it was Kelly. But, I could get behind a few others too. BUT NEVER Pete B.
