There is a tall bank along our road in Alton where we have got Lady Slippers on an annual basis for the last few years. Since, I photograph them, yearly, I know where they will pop up.
I have been going by the bank, daily, for the last few days checking on their progress.
Today, as you can see from the top picture, I could definitely see the flower pods taking shape. So, I wanted to share with you. I guess we are still at least 5 days off.
Yes, I will visit daily — sometimes twice daily. Rest assured, you will see the pictures as soon as they bloom. Promise. Have I ever let you down? SMILE.
